UN Women Conducts a Monitoring Exercise in Kampala, Gulu, Kamuli and Pallisa districts

UN Women conducted a monitoring exercise through partner and project review meetings to screen the project progress and outcomes and also guide further planning and implementation of the Enhancing Public Awareness and Support for Women’s Political Participation and Gender Equality project implemented by ACFODE in Kampala, Gulu, Moroto, Pallisa and Kamuli. This exercise was conducted in Kampala, Gulu, Kamuli and Pallisa from 13th to 18th May, 2019 respectively. It directly involved 73 participants including 22(11men and 11women) in Gulu, 24(14men and 10women) in Kamuli, 21(11men and 10women) in Pallisa and 6(5women and 1man) in Kampala.

The activity helped to inform the maintenance and improvement of some of the strategies applied in different districts of operation to implement project activities and effectively achieve project goal and objectives.
